About the role

The Enterprise Architect and Solution Specialist provides enterprise-wide architectural leadership to ensure technology solutions align with organizational strategy, operational requirements, security standards, and digital health priorities. The role partners with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to design and implement scalable, sustainable, and interoperable solutions that support business objectives and digital transformation initiatives What you'll be doing: Leading enterprise solution planning and architecture activities for digital health initiatives and strategic projects. Translating business and clinical requirements into integrated technology solutions and future-state architectures. Conducting current and future state assessments, workflow analysis, and solution design activities. Developing and maintaining solution architecture artifacts, standards, roadmaps, and governance documentation. Ensuring compliance with enterprise architecture standards, interoperability requirements, and regulatory obligations. Supporting technology planning related to data, analytics, integrations, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and infrastructure. Providing architectural leadership and guidance across multiple projects to ensure successful solution delivery. Participating in vendor evaluations, technology assessments, business case development, and funding proposals. Collaborating with stakeholders to build consensus, manage change, and support organizational priorities. Representing Digital Health in cross-functional committees, working groups, and strategic planning activities. What you bring: University degree in Business, Information Technology, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum three (3) years of Digital Health experience. Knowledge of hospital information systems, healthcare technologies, and interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, APIs). Experience with solution architecture, systems integration, technology planning, and digital transformation initiatives. Understanding of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid technology environments. Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience working within IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL, COBIT). Knowledge of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence. Demonstrated project management and change management experience. Hospital experience is preferred . PMP and industry-recognized certifications are considered assets.
