Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to gather requirements, develop prototype models, architect solutions, and conduct operational analysis.
  • Lead the implementation of advanced programs supporting System of Systems activities in a fast-paced, Science and Technology Mission Engineering-focused environment.
  • Become a subject matter expert on operational capabilities supporting the U.S. Navy's E-2D Hawkeye aircraft mission space.
  • Support the full engineering development life cycle, including requirements development, modeling and simulation, verification and validation (V&V), and presentation of results to customers.
  • Analyze simulated and live flight data to assess mission effectiveness for current and future operational capability improvements.
  • Apply technical expertise to solve complex integration challenges.
  • Generate and present material to support internal and external customer briefings.
  • Basic Qualifications (Base):
  • Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company.
  • Must have experience with Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems.
  • Must have experience in Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) techniques.
  • Must have experience with AFSIM, MATLAB, or Python.
  • Must have knowledge of systems engineering CONOPS, simulation frameworks, performance models, algorithms, threat models, or command & control models.
  • Basic Qualifications (Principal):

The role requires the ability to take ownership of challenging problems, drive them to a solution, and provide leadership for implementing solutions in a team environment. Candidates must be adaptable, innovative, and comfortable with ambiguity, supporting advanced programs with evolving requirements. The ideal candidate will understand and apply traditional systems engineering concepts in an agile, accelerated environment, be comfortable with multitasking and verbal presentations, and document assumptions as needed.
