Responsibilities

• What's Available:
• 72 hours biweekly (0.9 FTE)
• Monday - Friday starting at between 5:30a and 8a with call rotation
• Starting pay of $30.73 per hour and up, commensurate with your relevant years of work experience
• What You'll Need (Histology Technician):
• Bachelor's degree in a science field . A copy of the applicant's/employee's diploma and/or transcript as confirmation of the education requirement must be provided at the time of hire
• 4 years of current or previous healthcare, laboratory or research work experience required
• 6 months recent work history as a histology technician in a comparable high-volume hospital histology laboratory desired
• American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) certification required
• Self-starter with strong fine motor skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential for success in this role
