Senior Accountant

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant working experience, in establishing new processes and reports to achieve control and reporting requirements
• Relevant experience in food distribution and trading business would be ideal
• Knowledge in Navision is preferred
• Competencies
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter and ability to work as a member of a team
• Conscientious and organized and be able to cope with disorganized and small entities processes during the transition periods to integrate.

Additional Information

Role: - To be responsible for the integration of new business units to an ever expanding agricultural and food distribution business and to facilitate periodic reporting to relevant stakeholders. Working Hours: - 0830 to 1800 hours - Five-day week 1. Key responsibility areas - Integrate business and accounting processes of and establish reporting procedures for newly acquired business units. - Implement and operate a computerised accounting and management control system for newly acquired business units - Responsible for setting up full spectrum of financial and accounting functions, including processes and procedures for periodic and GST reporting - Review of financial and operational performance of business units - Ad-hoc projects and other job duties which may be assigned from time to time 2.
