Responsibilities
- HR Partnership and Employee Support
- Serve as supporting to the leadership team with employee relations, coaching, development, and recruiting.
- Maintain data integrity in Workday and ADP by processing new hires, employee changes, vacation tracking, safety-related updates, system maintenance, interfaces, reporting, and training.
- Maintain confidential personnel files in compliance with applicable state and federal requirements.
- Reconcile department invoices to ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Support HR KPIs and metric reporting on a monthly basis.
- Payroll, Timekeeping, and Leave Administration
- Support eTime and process transactions to support accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll submission to ADP.
- Lead and manage Canadian Payroll responsibilities partnering with various Business Units of Crane to support execution and auxiliary payroll functional needs (EHT, etc.)
- Track attendance, prepare corrective action documentation, notify supervisors, and monitor the timely return of completed documentation.
- Monitor attendance-related turnover trends, recommend program improvements, manage FMLA, STD, and LTD processes, and track vacation accruals for Finance.
- Recruiting, Benefits, and Employee Communication
- Assist with hourly recruiting and support broader salaried recruiting activities as needed.
- Communicate benefits and policy information clearly to support a positive employee relations environment and proper administration of benefit programs aligned with Crane Co. initiatives.
- Coordinate company-sponsored employee activities and support the development and distribution of bi-weekly employee communications.

- QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Requirements
- Bachelors' Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years HR co-op, payroll, recruitment or related experience.
- Open to relocation for advancement within Crane.
- Professional ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- 2-4 years of US and Canadian payroll experience.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.
- Strong sense of urgency and time-management.
- Experience in Excel, Word and the ability to navigate through various software applications.
- Experience with Canadian Payroll.
