We look forward to you supporting us in the Mission Functions department as an intern (d/f/m)! - Location: Donauwörth - Start: 01.03.2026 - Duration: 6 months ## Your location At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield. ## Your benefits - Attractive salary and work-life balance with a 35-hour week (flexitime). - A final thesis is possible after consultation with the department. - International environment with the opportunity to network globally. - Work with modern/diversified technologies. - At Airbus, we see you as a valuable team member and you are not hired to brew coffee, instead you are in close contact with the interfaces and are part of our weekly team meetings. - Opportunity to participate in the Generation Airbus Community to expand your own network. ## Your tasks and responsibilities - Collaborate with the transversal team to design, code software in programming languages like C, ADA, etc. - Work on embedded systems to integrate and verify software with hardware components. - Debug and troubleshoot existing software to improve reliability. - Collaborate with team members to align software solutions. - Contribute to the team's innovation by suggesting improvements or new ideas for the software development process. - Write and maintain Python scripts for DevOps tasks, for continuous integration and improve the processes. ## Desired skills and qualifications - Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) within IT, computer Science or a similar field. - Knowledge in programming languages (Python, C, C++,...). - Basic experience in agile software development methods would be a plus. - Having knowledge of DevOps is a valuable asset. - Experience within AI would be beneficial. - Ability to work in teams and solve complex technical problems. - Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work on multiple tasks simultaneously, especially in a dynamic environment. - Language Skills: English - fluent.
