Responsibilities

  • 8+ years in client leadership roles within retail or CPG.
  • 3-5+ years' experience of direct report responsibility mentoring, managing and leading associates.
  • 4 days per week ONSITE with Client
  • Proven success managing large accounts and complex negotiations.
  • Strong analytical storytelling skills and consultative mindset
  • Working knowledge of syndicated data offerings with exposure to NIQ and/or similar solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adaptable and polished in diverse settings.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and drive transformation initiatives.
  • Strong sense of urgency and accountability to drive client outcomes while managing multiple priorities.
  • Able to work collaboratively with internal & external teams.
  • BA/BS required; Master's degree a plus
  • Travel 10-15% expected

This is a HYBRID position, 4 DAYS A WEEK at client sites in the Edison, NJ area. As a Client Director, you'll serve as the senior leader responsible for bringing compelling, thoughtful, action-oriented analysis across major retail client accounts. This role requires a proven ability to understand retail value chain, build client relationships, and deliver insights that drive provocative conversations. Acting as the voice of the client internally, the Client Insights Director ensures alignment with NIQ's commercial teams and fosters long-term partnerships.
