Role Purpose This is a senior management position and is responsible for all aspects of HR function of the company and subsidiaries/units. The position is responsible for all HR matters. Principal Duties and Responsibilities - Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organization goals, staffing needs, including recruitment retention, training, and talent development. - Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs. - Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance, talent management and development productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety. - Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring. - Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with applicable Labour law regulations. - Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources. - Develops manages and maintains department budget. - Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for HR staff. - Ensure all meetings are held per company calendar. - Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, half year and annual reports to the deputy CEO in a timely manner in accordance with company calendar. Education: - Degree in Human Resource or equivalent in Business Administration, Management Studies, or equivalent relevant field - Second degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, or a closely related field preferred - Membership in a relevant professional body (IHRMP, PHR, SHRM, SPHR, CIPD) is preferred - A minimum of 8 years in an HR managerial role within a corporate setting Minimum Requirements - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential materials and matters with discretion and tact - High standards of personal integrity and adherence to professional and ethical standards - Must be objective and firm. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong supervisory and leadership skills. - Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees. - Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. - Thorough knowledge of labour law and regulations. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. - Committed to working non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends. - Willingness to travel short notice. - An innovative approach and high energy levels - Enthusiastic and action oriented Leadership Capabilities Living our Purpose - Acts as a role model and inspires others to embrace and live our purpose and values.
