About the Position: Serve as a senior-level Clinical Psychologist within the Department of Mental Health at Naval Health Clinic Annapolis in Annapolis, Maryland. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Degree: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service which includes performing psychological assessment & diagnosis of a wide range of mental health conditions; developing & documenting individualized clinical treatment plans in accordance with standard operating procedures and applicable regulations; conducting individual & group psychotherapy using evidence-based therapeutic techniques; and providing clinical consultation to other healthcare providers and/or paraprofessionals on psychological assessment & treatment matters. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). License: A current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.
