Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver contractual, operational, and service delivery reporting outputs, ensuring all obligations are met accurately, on time, and across defined reporting cadences (daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc)
  • Execute and manage end-to-end reporting processes and data pipelines, including data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and secure delivery, while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability

  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure reporting aligns to service performance, contractual commitments, and customer expectations
  • Ensure reporting outputs adhere to governance, data quality, and controlled data handling requirements, particularly within secure and regulated environments
  • Prepare and present insights that support operational and service delivery decision-making, while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and consistency
  • Support automation and AI-assisted analytics initiatives to improve reporting efficiency, insight generation, and operational performance
  • Contribute to the evolution of reporting capability through automation uplift, platform transition, and modern analytics approaches
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting scalability, efficiency, and resilience across existing processes
  • Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures to support consistent delivery and reduce single points of failure
  • Support onboarding of new reporting requirements, customer needs, and platform changes, ensuring continuity of service.
  • To be successful in the role, you'll bring:
  • Technical capability
  • Experience working with SQL for data extraction, interrogation, and reporting
  • Experience using Python (Pandas/NumPy preferred) for analytics or automation activities
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation platforms
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and reporting architecture concepts
  • Awareness of secure analytics environments supporting Defence, Government, or regulated customers
  • Advanced Excel capability
  • Exposure to Azure, Microsoft Fabric, or modern cloud-based analytics automation tools and environments preferred
  • Exposure to AI/ML, predictive analytics, or automation approaches advantageous
  • Exposure to operational or service delivery data sources advantageous (e.g. Service Now, Remedy, Helix and Splunk)
  • Exposure to data migration or platform transformation initiatives advantageous
