Job Summary The Direct Agent & Territory Strategist (DATS) will drive significant sales growth by building a strong channel for local, contracted external agents and agency partners, including directly contracted agents and agency down-line hierarchies within their market and assigned book of business. This will be accomplished by understanding and positioning our value proposition, and ultimately cultivating new business, while promoting retention of current business. This position will play a key role in building and executing broker specific strategies using industry knowledge, competitive intelligence, data insights & technical solutions in order to deliver optimal selling outcomes for contracted external brokers. This role will: - Drive Market/Territory Level Growth Strategy. The DATS will partner with the market leadership team to develop and execute a strategy to grow Medicare product sales within their geography. The strategy will take into consideration agency growth targets, broker relationships, growth strategies, competitive intel, local trends, and core product strategies. Market specific sales reports, forecasts, and updates will be a part of this strategy. - Collaboration with matrix partners. The DATS will be a resource liaison for operations. They will participate in internal meetings and calls so operations can better understand downline partner, agent and D2C channel sales' needs. Each DATS will share specific market feedback so leadership can better understand channel conditions. This partnership will help facilitate a best practices approach to drive growth with open lines of communication and understanding. - Goal Attainment: The DATS will be held accountable for their assigned Medicare sales goals for production, growing the direct agent channel and channel performance metrics. Job Requirements: Valid health insurance license required. Knowledge of Medicare (landscape, competitive offerings) required . Experience in business development and the execution of sales forecasting related to Medicare Advantage external business partners. Excellent organizational, presentation, analytical/synthesizing and sales negotiation skills. Demonstrate ability to develop overall big picture strategy, sequence and execute on the tactical initiatives to advance the selling strategy. Demonstrate the initiative and experience to proactively identify issues, plan work and meet goals on schedule. Leverage data and insights to inform strategy and recommended approach, link business need to action, understand how to leverage digital tactics/channels to execute marketing strategy. Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple internal and external partners. Ability to quickly build credibility and trust. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change. Ability to work under pressure and execute on deadlines, handling multiple opportunities with different priorities and deadlines. Ability to communicate complex issues concisely. Sales management experience, preferred. The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan. Base Pay Range $98,300.00 - $147,300.00 Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
