We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Business Operations Associate to support the day-to-day operations of our Shanghai Office. This role is critical in supporting the Business Development function and ensuring efficient day-to-day administration of the Shanghai Office. The role is suited to an individual eager to build a career in the financial industry. Responsibilities and Duties Office Management & Administration Oversee daily office operations to ensure a professional, efficient work environment Manage administrative functions, including banking support, accounts payable coordination, and vendor management for office-related services Handle office logistics, including supplies procurement, courier services, and visitor reception Organise and support employee engagement activities and office events Act as a liaison for facilities management and workplace safety Business Development Assist the Business Development Officer in coordinating new and ongoing projects and other initiatives Support the onboarding of new brokers and vendors by tracking documentation, scheduling cross-functional meetings, and following up on action items Help prepare materials, take minutes, and track deliverables for meetings with internal teams, including Trading, IT, Operations and external partners Maintain and update key documentation, including project status trackers, stakeholder contact lists, and process checklists Act as a secondary point of contact for operational queries, learning to triage and escalate issues effectively What you offer University graduate, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field At least 1 year of relevant experience, ideally in an administrative or coordination role within a financial institution or technology firm A strong demonstrable interest in the financial markets, trading technology or project management Proactive, "can-do" attitude with exceptional organisational and multitasking skills Mature and reliable, with the ability to work independently while being a strong team player Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint Strong command of written and spoken English and Mandarin Authorisation to work in China
