Architectural Site Engineer

About the role

Job Descriptions Technical Implementation: Interpret, explain, and implement architectural blueprints, structural drawings, and technical specifications accurately on-site. Site Supervision & Management: Manage day-to-day operations, including scheduling, worker deployment, and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants. Quality Control (QA/QC): Inspect work in progress, verify materials, and ensure all construction meets safety regulations (e.g., WSH Act) and design standards. Progress Tracking & Reporting: Monitor project timelines and budgets, identifying potential delays or issues to resolve them proactively. Documentation: Maintain detailed records, including daily site reports, material management, and project variations. Coordination: Liaise with architects, project managers, and clients to align construction with design intent. Ad-hoc Duties: Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of site supervision experience, preferably with knowledge of building materials and construction methods. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other technical software. Strong knowledge of local building regulations and safety compliance. Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and structural drawings. Self-motivated, able to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and proactively solve problems Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage on-site logistics effectively.
