Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end coordination of HBCF loan closings from term sheet through initial funding and booking, with particular expertise in complex structures such as participations and syndications
- Serve as primary point of contact and liaison with internal business partners, clients, title companies, legal counsel, syndicate members, and external consultants
- Review all loan documentation for compliance with credit approval terms, bank policy, federal and state regulations, and legal standards

- Obtain original loan documents, review collateral exceptions, and clear exceptions prior to funding

- Support Relationship Managers with portfolio renewals and loan modifications as needed
- Manage approximately 10 builder portfolios, including both borrowing base and guidance lines of credit
- Process weekly builder draw requests, including unit inspections, system updates for percent completion, and availability analysis
- Maintain accurate collateral records by reconciling monthly and quarterly reports against HBCF internal reports
- Generate and process monthly renewal letters for maturing collateral units
- Manage timely and accurate system entry of builder requests for collateral and unit additions to lines of credit
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, business partners, and internal team members to deliver an exceptional client experience
- Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned
- Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial loan closing experience
- At least 2 years of experience in real estate or construction loan documentation and collateral tracking
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple loans simultaneously while meeting critical closing deadlines
- Proven expertise in commercial collateral due diligence and entity documentation requirements
- Strong capability to review, interpret, and assess all loan documentation types, lien perfection, and attorney-prepared documents
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to interface effectively with executive management, clients, attorneys, title companies, and third-party consultants
- Professional discretion in handling confidential information
- Customer service mindset with personal initiative and sense of urgency in resolving issues
