Country of Location: China Hong Kong Job Responsibilities: Develop, implement and maintain the Bank's country risk management and collateral management framework, policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with relevant regulations (e.g. HKMA, NFRA) and Group policies, while providing independent oversight as the second line of defense. Conduct analysis and prepare management information reports to identify trends and vulnerabilities, and any ad-hoc portfolio review for management oversight. Conduct checking on the accuracy of data used in reporting. Drive risk initiatives for monitor exposure and identify potential risks in portfolios. Propose system enhancement changes, raise user requirements and conduct user acceptance tests. Collaborate with business units, operations, legal, compliance and relevant stakeholders to provide guidance and risk management advice. Ensure the robust country risk and collateral management framework is in place and the on-going maintenance of the country risk and collateral system. Management of the country risk limits, including limit and country rating review, utilization monitoring, earmarking, taking control actions to lower the usage when trigger levels are reached. Establish and monitor collateral concentration limits, ensuring effective collateral management at portfolio level. Formulate and review the Bank's collateral haircut methodology and eligibility framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and policy standard.
