In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of all mailroom operations, as well as overseeing storage initiatives. You will handle incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain accurate records, and ensure a clean and organized workspace. This is an essential role that requires strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the mailroom, including sorting, and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Track and manage shipments; accurately document all incoming and outgoing items
- Track office supplies inventory and restock as necessary
- Regularly clear and maintain a clean mailroom to optimize workflow
- Correctly place boxes in the accounts' specified area
- Provide any additional general administrative support and assist with special projects as needed
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
- Communicate regularly with internal teams to ensure the mailroom and shipping areas remain organized and clutter-free
- Conduct monthly check-in with each team to ensure their areas are upkept and address any needs
- Maintain open communication with management for any support required
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, or mailroom coordination
