This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data across systems, in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong control mindset, with a proven ability to evaluate and enforce data governance standards while continuously seeking opportunities to enhance data quality, streamline processes, and deliver added value to business stakeholders. Operations Execution and Excellence Execute end-to-end processing for onboarding, maintenance and retirement of supplier and customer master data to ensure data accuracy and integrity Process high volume of supplier and customer master data requests in a timely manner in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) Respond to queries from requestors and provide guidance to business units where required Work closely with team members and stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and ensure smooth operations Controls, Compliance and Audit Support the documentation, maintenance and updating of user guides, operation manuals, policies and procedures Assist in internal and external audit activities, including preparation of required documentation, follow-up and closure on remediation actions Perform data analysis to detect anomaly Projects Support and Implementation Support ongoing finance and system-related projects impacting supplier/customer master data Participate in UAT activities and troubleshooting for system implementation and enhancements Support change management as necessary (e.g., users training and communication etc) Continuous Improvements Identify gaps and provide suggestions and participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and data quality Any ad hoc duty as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent qualifications
- Candidates with tertiary education and relevant experience gained from previous roles in a similar capacity will be considered
- Preferably with 3-5 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Strong controls and process improvement mindset
- Customer service orientation who proactively attend to and solve users' requests with urgency and drive positive outcomes
- Possess good analytical and communication skills
- Meticulous and excellent attention to details
- Experience in SAP and project implementation will be an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel
