About the role

As a Senior Vendor Manager and Project Leader, you will drive the collaboration, compliance, and performance of third-party engagements within Roche Diagnostics Solutions R&D. Acting as the primary interface between the vendor's delivery manager and Roche, you ensure external partners deliver according to contractual obligations and industry best practices while aligning internal stakeholders to guarantee overall project success. This role is based in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, with a hybrid working model expecting approximately 50% on-site presence. Your contributions will directly support the Roche Diagnostics 10-year ambition. In this position, you will be responsible for the following areas: You build strong, collaborative vendor partnerships based on transparency and trust, driving daily alignment, stakeholder connections, and domain onboarding. You manage operational oversight by conducting regular review meetings and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to ensure long-term contractual compliance. You partner with vendors and Roche Procurement to draft work orders and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) tied to "at-risk" amounts for maximum accountability. You verify invoicing accuracy against milestones and "at-risk" delivery outcomes to prevent budget overruns. You establish and monitor robust metrics to track feature progress, value realization, and the alignment of development efforts with contractual milestones. You guard against scope creep, strictly aligning SOW requirements with the agile backlog while balancing fixed-price constraints and agile flexibility. You lead moderate-sized squads or ARTs, taking full accountability for delivering engagements within schedule, scope, budget, and quality constraints. You enforce a Quality-First framework (e.g., defect density, V&V rates, technical debt) to ensure vendors prioritize product integrity over pure velocity. A healthier future drives us to innovate. Together, more than 100'000 employees across the globe are dedicated to advance science, ensuring everyone has access to healthcare today and for generations to come. Our efforts result in more than 26 million people treated with our medicines and over 30 billion tests conducted using our Diagnostics products. We empower each other to explore new possibilities, foster creativity, and keep our ambitions high, so we can deliver life-changing healthcare solutions that make a global impact. Let's build a healthier future, together. Roche is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
