Requirements

• Experience in professional, non-internship software development
• 3+ years of Apple platform development experience
• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Experience working with REST API based services, or experience with automation and any version control tools and experience in Linux and Networking protocols

You will be responsible for developing mobile applications that interact seamlessly with our devices and delight our customers. Key job responsibilities - Design and build features for Ring mobile applications - Improve mobile application architecture - Develop features and solve problems using XCode, Swift, AI, and a variety of other tooling - Develop with the performance, quality, and responsiveness of in mind - Collaborate with a cross-functional agile team to create, and deliver new features - Ensure operational excellence by resolving application issues and fix bugs - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization - Use AI to deliver features efficiently - this can include creating unit tests, code, documents, tickets, and much more A day in the life - Develop features which are used by millions of customers each day - Get to use the latest and greatest AI technologies in order to deliver high quality features - Have an opportunity to support and influence key decisions within the mobile platform and promote best coding practices - Work closely with other team members to ensure new features are implemented in extensible, maintainable ways - Regularly work with backend developers to help support how our app integrates with back-end services - Write well-tested code using modern architectural principles
