Responsibilities
- As part of our Business Development team, you will leverage your network and commercial expertise to identify, develop, and win new business opportunities. You'll represent dunnhumby's unique, customer-first proposition-helping organizations unlock growth through data and insight.
- You will:
- Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities across Retail industries (Grocery, Pharma, Departamental, etc)
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, needs analysis, stakeholder mapping, solution design, pitching, and negotiation
- Position dunnhumby's solutions across: Customer loyalty and engagement, Category management, Pricing and promotions and Data and retail media monetization
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, becoming a strategic advisor
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Consulting, Finance, and Legal teams to shape compelling, tailored proposals
- Ensure a seamless transition from sale to delivery by defining the optimal operating model and setting engagements up for success
- What we expect from you
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- 10+ years of delivering new business growth in a technology, data, or consulting environment
- Strong network and credibility with grocery retailers and/or CPG organizations (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture senior-level relationships, acting as a trusted partner
- A consultative, solution-led sales approach, with the ability to translate client challenges into customer-first solutions
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively across cross-functional and global teams
