Lead Interdisciplinary Computer Engineer/Electronics Engineer/Computer Scientist

About the role

You will serve as either a LEAD COMPUTER ENGINEER, LEAD ELECTRONICS ENGINEER, or a LEAD COMPUTER SCIENTIST in the MISSION SYSTEMS GROUP, SOFTWARE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-04 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) As the lead systems integrator, developing plans and processes to align software releases with multiple prime contractors; 2) Developing plans and processes to achieve the software maturity needed to launch and recover on an aircraft carrier; 3) Conducting agile planning with multiple contractors using Program Increment (PI) Planning; 4) As a software Subject Matter Expert (SME), conducting airworthiness activities for an Unmanned Air Vehicle (UAV) platform during the flight test; and 5) Tracking and briefing software execution progress to high levels of leadership.
