We are seeking a Staff I to join the Strategic CFO Advisory Service practice in our Hyderabad office. Our CFO Advisory team serves as a trusted advisor to CFOs and finance leaders, helping shape the CFO agenda and drive enterprise value through finance process optimization, target operating model development, and technology enablement across core finance domains including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, FP&A, and Financial Close & Consolidation. The role will focus on Finance & Business Transformation, Accounting Advisory, Financial Reporting, Process Improvement, Budgeting & Forecasting, and Business Analytics. The role will support, complete, and ensure the accuracy and quality of client engagements to meet the Firm's strategic goals and initiatives. What work you will be responsible for: Possess a deep understanding of accounting and accounting standards (Ind AS / US GAAP / IFRS). When gaps are identified in the way a client is performing accounting, the candidate should be able to identify the correct approach as per accounting rules and standards, suggest and implement the right way of doing it, and calculate the financial impact of such corrections. Should also have experience in process documentation, financial analysis, report writing, root cause analysis, and remediation planning. Conduct current-state assessments of client finance functions by performing walkthroughs and documenting the client's financial processes, accounting policies, and reporting frameworks. Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities, and assist in designing future-state processes and operating models. Continuously develop and apply knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and business transformation methodologies to deliver increasing value across client engagements. Participate in CFO Advisory and Finance Transformation engagements across a variety of industries, working across core finance processes including Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), FP&A, and Financial Close & Consolidation. Support finance transformation initiatives, including process optimization, system implementations, and financial process improvements to ensure client objectives are being met. Develop deliverables including process maps, as-is/to-be documentation, fit/gap analysis reports, transformation roadmaps, and accounting position papers. Prepare quality and timely workpapers, deliverables, and reports supporting the results of finance and accounting advisory engagements. Assist in building business cases to quantify process improvement value, define KPIs, and communicate transformation benefits to client stakeholders. Demonstrate and apply multi-tasking skills, teamwork, and responsibility with engagement team members. Leverage technology tools and data analytics to analyze financial data sets, build dashboards, uncover patterns, and enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services. Maintain client relationships, participate in client workshops, assist in facilitating requirements gathering sessions, and support walkthroughs with business stakeholders to tailor engagements to meet client needs and expectations. Exposure to Financial Due Diligence, Accounting Advisory, SOPs, Process Reviews, and other finance transformation engagements would be positive.
