Job Description: We now have a vacancy in our Sourcing organisation for a Regional Indirect Buyer Spain, based in our Beverage plant in Valencia (Spain), reporting to the Regional Indirect Sourcing Manager Spain, Italy and Greece. This role is fully office-based and does not offer remote work options. The role is to contribute to an optimized procurement in Spain, ensuring internal and external customers' service requirements are met at the lowest cost to serve. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: to ensure on time in full supply of indirect commodities and within cost targets to validate new suppliers and negotiate existing and new contracts to manage regional indirect sourcing budget and reporting activities to maintain a regional network of plant buyers to capture and promote regional synergies and ensure process compliance to support the 3 Spanish plants in purchasing through the management of procurement IT systems: approval of purchase orders, management of suppliers' database and pricing control through SAP to be the go-to expert on market intelligence, providing insights on suppliers' capabilities, competition and latest technologies to simplify, continuously improve and modernize existing processes Essential skills and experience: The successful candidate has preferably a Supply Chain, Commercial, Purchasing or Industrial Engineering background, with at least 2 years' experience in a commercial engineering environment and experience of indirect procurement for a manufacturing business, ideally within the packaging or FMCG sector. Results oriented, you have high ethical standards with interpersonal, strong influencing, negotiating and communication skills. You demonstrate good collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills. A team player, you can as well work in full autonomy, with a proactive and analytical mindset. Besides Spanish, fluency in English required. IT literate, you have a working experience in using ERP systems (i.e. SAP) and you can travel occasionally, within Spain or abroad in mainly in EU.
