About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Setter Maintainer to join our thriving UK medical manufacturing company to work within our expanding Engineering Department. We are looking to recruit a Setter Maintainer to form part of a team of four Dual Skill Engineers and four Setter Maintainers, working on a rotating shift pattern. The role will require fault finding, machine setting, machine cleaning, Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and installations, and providing mechanical support during breakdowns as required. All work must be completed effectively, with machine downtime being kept to a minimum, and within target expectations, whilst adhering to current Health and Safety Regulations and best practice. Essential Experience/Qualifications: Experience working in an automated production environment Machine setting experience Strong knowledge of Health and Safety practices Ability to build strong working relationships Understanding of working in a controlled environment Ability to manage downtime and priorities Continuous improvement mindset Desirable Experience/Qualifications: Experience of Injection Moulding Knowledge and understanding of quick changeover best practices Key Skills: Good communication Good people skills Able to work to deadlines Able to multitask and prioritise workload Able to make decisions and self-manage Able to work in a team and on own initiative Self-motivated and willing to learn Have a can-do attitude with an enthusiastic approach to work Basic computer skills Methodical, organised and structured approach to work Able to work in a safe manner complying with Health and Safety Legislation High level of commitment Hours of Work: 4 on, 4 off shift pattern 4 days on, 4 days off, 4 nights on, 4 nights off 7:00am - 19:30pm and 19:00pm - 7:30am Equal Opportunities We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace for all.
