Responsibilities
- Develop and release harness design solutions within a 3D NX CAD environment, adhere to and improve internal design standards and requirements.
- Work with responsible engineers to generate electrical schematics to support both flight and qualification designs.

Requirements

- 3+ years in professional wire harnessing experience or similar environment, or bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar field
- PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3D CAD harnessing/routing design and drafting experience with Siemens NX or similar software
- Exposure to electrical/optical harnessing processes and tooling
- Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding atmosphere
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
- Must be able to work all required shift hours, overtime, and weekends as needed. Estimated shift times; 1st Shift: 7:00AM - 5:00PM
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted
- Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
- COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Pay range:
- Test Specialist/Level 1: $34.00 - $40.00/hour
- Test Specialist/Level 2: $38.00 - $45.00/hour
- Test Specialist/Level 3: $42.00 - $51.00/hour
- Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

On the avionics & harnessing engineering team, you will be responsible for releasing satellite harnessing design and drawings, as well as qualifying interconnects and cables across our various satellite configurations. You will work closely with responsible engineers focused on driving new component selections across various bus/power and optical harnessing products and executing on component and subsystem qualification/testing. This role has high exposure across our various satellite vehicle subsystems and befits one who is highly collaborative and motivated to take on challenging work - both hands-on building harnessing products + processes and execute/release detailed wire harness designs.
