We are seeking a highly skilled United States-based Employment Lawyer to join our growing legal team. This position is responsible for providing expert advice on a wide range of employment and labor law issues including hiring, performance management and discharge, employment disputes/wrongful termination claims, disability accommodation, wage and hour, employee privacy and other relevant labor and employment matters. Additionally, the role involves managing litigation, overseeing all our employee form agreements, conducting training across all our geographies, supervision of outside counsel and liaising with local counsel. As a key member of our growing legal team, the attorney will help influence our operations and policies, ensuring compliance and best practices across the organization. This attorney must have strong leadership skills, be a thoughtful problem solver and a trusted business partner for numerous internal teams. Essential Responsibilities: - Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure our employment practices are proper and well-understood within the company and to ensure compliance with regional legal requirements. - Drafting and maintaining numerous employment related policies that are required for global operations, including ethics, anti-corruption, anti-harassment and others. - Supporting the human resources team through operational guidance and process training. - Staying informed on employment and labor law issues affecting Talkdesk in our geographies. - Balancing competing priorities of various constituencies.
