Job Responsibilities: Provide support in a variety of settings and in accordance with each person's individualized service and behavior support plans. Ensure health, wellness, and safety by providing appropriate supervision of the people we support. Help manage crisis situations while adhering to policies, procedures and regulations. Assist individuals in maximizing their strengths, interests, and abilities by upholding their personal rights, providing emotional support and building positive relationships. Perform other duties as needed. Minimum Requirements: HS diploma or its educational equivalent A valid driver's license may be required, based on position/location Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification within one year of appointment - YAI will cover costs of all required training for the RBT certification. Additional Minimum Requirements by State: State of New Jersey (Behavioral Health Stabilization Homes): At least six months' work or life experience with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or behavioral challenges Must hold a valid driver's license with no more than 5 points New Jersey State drug test screening is mandatory
