Project Manager

About the role

JobDescriptions Overall responsibility for the Project Department in planning, operations, cost management and human resource management/development Oversee all turnkey-based project work and selection/ management of sub-contractors to ensure project is completed on time through the Project Manager (local and overseas) Prepare and submit project plan, project progress and final reports to Group GM of Operations for submission to MD as part of the periodic management report Assist to prepare contracts, negotiate revisions and any other changes/additions to contractual agreements Plan and manage budgets Coordinate with other department managers within the firm to ensure that project is not delayed Monitor milestones and deadlines Analysis of data and information to recommend and ensure continuous process improvement Attend owner / yard meetings if necessary Escalate any issues to Group GM of Operations if needed Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Marine engineering 8 years of work experience including substantial work experience in shipyards Experience in marine and offshore or industrial environment Strong project management and communication skills Resourceful and a strong problem-solver Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines Integrity and a strong sense of responsibility
