Responsibilities

  • As an Alternative Sports Recreation Program Coordinator, you will:
  • Coordinate with Recreation Coordinators, partner organizations, or city representatives to coordinate the use of facilities and implementation of programs that have been identified through collaborative efforts to meet the needs of the community and customers
  • Routinely instruct programs in all activity areas and train instructors in delivering safe, inclusive, and engaging recreational programs

  • Oversee the program calendar and staff scheduling to maximize programming opportunities while ensuring that staffing and resources are available to support programs
  • Work closely with the DPR Marketing Team to help promote programs; regularly engage new and inn

The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $25.30/hour - $28.00/hour.
