Who We're Looking For Our exceptional team of licensed veterinary technicians are the heart of VERG. We are looking for an Anesthesia Technician to add to our growing Anesthesia department. Our Anesthesia Technicians support all departments throughout our large specialty and emergency hospital, coordinating care with our board-certified Anesthesiologists to ensure every procedure is set up for success. We're in a growth phase and are looking for the best of the best to join us! As we grow, we're seeking top-tier technicians who thrive under pressure and want to make a real impact. What You Can Expect To Do In this dynamic role, you'll support cases in Critical Care, Emergency, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery, Radiology, and Neurology. You'll collaborate closely with our specialists and emergency clinicians to develop and implement tailored anesthetic plans that prioritize patient well-being and safety as they undergo medical and surgical procedures and diagnostic testing under sedation or general anesthesia. This role offers the flexibility of a 4-day workweek! This schedule ensures excellent coverage for our specialty services and emergency surgical procedures while also providing a 3-day off period for our hardworking team!
Requirements
- Education and Experience:
- Licensed or Credentialed Veterinary Technician
- At least 2 years as a Veterinary Technician with Anesthesia-specific experience in a specialty medicine setting
