- Facilitate site safety committees (scheduling, recruiting and meeting leadership)
- Performance of risk assessments (participates in and facilitates majority of risk assessments in the facility, trains new assessors), documentation of work instructions and other instructional materials.
- Daily Line Management (DLM) leader: facilitates production floor DLM meeting, data entry of daily audit items and identifies improvement opportunities.
- Act as liaison between EHS Management and production floor partners; drive improvement through coaching and training; drive accountability through audits and observations. Requires some flexibility in scheduling for occasional production floor presence during off shifts.
- Assist with the development of programs and solutions for the location's EHS Compliance Audit findings.
- Assists the Site EHS Manager, leadership team and Partners with the implementation of creative approaches to improve safety, and liability, and implement EHS initiatives.
- Support facility incident investigation process to ensure incidents are reported in a timely manner, root causes are identified, and corrective actions are tracked through closure.
- Provide training and information necessary to ensure responsible personnel are aware of corporate and governmental EHS regulations and requirements.
- Support the development, maintenance, implementation, and annual review of EHS policies, procedures, and responsibilities, and develop activities that will stimulate and maintain employee interest as well as improve EHS performance metrics.
Requirements
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read/follow instructions, perform basic math, and convert measurements
- Team-oriented with willingness to train and collaborate
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus

- Lift up to 55 lbs and push/pull 20-55 lbs
- Continuous standing and walking
- Exposure to noise above 85 dB and solvent odors/heat from production

Act as a resource to the EHS Manager in the development and administration of facility Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs in accordance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies, standards, procedures, and objectives. This position is expected to have a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to drive accountability. This role will support a location of 140-150 employees with moderate environmental and safety complexity.
