Responsibilities

Requirements
- Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar discipline with relevant experience
- 5-8 years of professional engineering experience
- Experience with electro-mechanical systems design, integration, or support
- Strong problem-solving and systems-level thinking abilities
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with customers, sales teams, and cross-functional engineering groups
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Desired:
- Experience with optical systems or EO/IR sensors
- Experience with gyro-stabilized platforms or gimbal systems
- Experience with laser systems and laser safety protocols
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (drone pilot)
- Background in defense or aerospace industry
- Familiarity with test and validation processes for complex electro-mechanical systems
- Experience supporting product integration at customer sites
- Knowledge of RMA processes and field service support
- Understanding of Requirements Management and Systems Engineering best practices
