The primary focus of the Senior Analyst will be to support data-driven decision s through the acquisition and analysis of data and the effective communication of actionable insights . Leverage SQL and Python (Pandas & Numpy) skills to acquire and organize data D iscover insights through data exploration, quantitative analysis, and creative problem solving . Develop solutions to address the opportunities uncovered within your analysis. Assess the quantitative and qualitative impacts of possible outcomes . Influence decision making through effective verbal presentation, written communication, and intuitive data visualizations. Coordinate with stakeholders to help implement and monitor recommended actions . Build relationships with key stakeholders across the organization . Become a subject matter expert within your department by developing a comprehensive understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data . Continuously improve your analytical, communication, and people skills . CURRENT OPENINGS Pricing Analytics The Pricing Analytics team's work is centered on determining the appropriate interest rates to be paid by customers for our Consumer Finance Retail and Lease products. Our team's work is critical not only in driving TMCC's business results from a sales, profitability, and risk perspective but also in the impact it has on millions of Americans monthly loan/lease payments. With such a high level of responsibility, our team utilizes both an analytical framework utilizing the latest techniques and technologies in data analytics/science while also leveraging the depth of industry knowledge and expertise throughout TFS. Sr. Tax Analyst - Data Analysis (DnA) The Data Analysis team provides reporting, ad hoc and insight generation/analytics primarily assisting our Contact Center Service Operations, Legal and Compliance, Sales, and other Corporate Functions including Voluntary Protection Products (VPP), Accounting, Risk and Fraud. Our goal is to provide a consultative approach to answering business questions, driving efficiency gains and helping the business units to deliver value. The goal is to turn data into actionable insights while enabling the business to be more self sufficient in their data and reporting needs. We typically look for candidates with a mix of coding/programming ability along with an ability to analytically answer a business problem while being able to build relationships and influence decisions across the organization. What you 'll bring Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering , Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field . 3+ y ear s of relevant professional work experience (paid, non-academic).
