- Ensure required behavioral health documentation, reporting, and mission-related data are completed according to established timelines and program requirements.
- Monitor incidents, sentinel events, and potential litigation situations and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure required behavioral health meetings are conducted and documented according to policy and accreditation requirements.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility through appropriate management of program budgets.
- Ensure government-furnished property, medical equipment, and administrative supplies are properly maintained and accounted for.
- Perform clinical duties and administrative duties in accordance with program requirements, maintaining an approximate allocation of 60 percent clinical responsibilities and 40 percent administrative responsibilities.
- Authorized to add, remove, or reduce suicide watch precautions for patients in accordance with clinical authority and program requirements.
- Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

- Basic Requirements/Certifications:
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license in Texas or the ability to obtain one.
