The Technician 3, Equipment Maintenance position is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of essential backend process equipment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct comprehensive electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in non-functioning equipment crucial to backend processes. Provide expert manufacturing and equipment support in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing environment characterized by rapid technological advancements. Meticulously dismantle, adjust, repair, and reassemble equipment in strict accordance with schematics, repair manuals, and precise specifications. Execute rigorous preventive maintenance protocols, perform complex repairs, and conduct in-depth troubleshooting diagnoses on production equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency. Demonstrate advanced problem-solving skills to address non-standard issues, operate with minimal supervision, and adapt swiftly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced industrial setting. Exhibit a high degree of self-motivation and initiative, effectively managing individual responsibilities while actively contributing to team objectives. Collaborate closely with the Engineering department to facilitate new equipment installations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. REQUIRED: Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics PREFERRED: Proficient at troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PC software/hardware related issues Ability to use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis and repair of equipment Ability to understand PLC system Ability to use vision system will be an added advantage High level attention to detail with methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management Provide leadership to other technicians through training and mentorship Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, diagnose root cause, and drive factory improvement initiatives Knowledge of Auto VMI, Auto Labeling and Auto Packing equipment/process would be an added advantage
