QA/QC Engineer

About the role

TheQA/QC Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all construction and structuralworks are carried out in accordance with project specifications, approveddrawings, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The role involvesimplementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections, managingdocumentation, and ensuring compliance with company Quality Management Systems(QMS). 1. Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures for construction projects. 2. Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, approved drawings, contract requirements, and applicable standards. 3. Prepare and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, Quality Plans, and related QA/QC documentation. 4. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits to verify workmanship and material compliance. 5. Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, main contractors, and relevant authorities. 6. Monitor and verify incoming materials to ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards. 7. Prepare, submit, and maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports, checklists, and NCR (Non-Conformance Reports). 8. Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. 9. Follow up on rectification works and verify closure of quality-related issues. 10. Coordinate with project teams, site supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are met. 11. Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements. 12. Attend project meetings and provide updates on quality matters. 13. Support project handover activities and preparation of quality dossiers and as-built documentation. 14. Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager or QA/QC Manager.
