Laundry Machine Operator (Custodial), NA-03/RPL (LT)

About the role

Operates commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and stack bulk laundry while ensuring proper machine settings and load capacities. Performs custodial duties, operates powered cleaning equipment, completes routine equipment maintenance, and maintains clean facilities. Follows established procedures under general supervision. Requires physical labor, including lifting over 50 lbs., and works in hot, humid, noisy environments with exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment hazards. RESUMES MUST BE TWO PAGES (OR LESS). QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE CLEARLY VERIFIABLE IN YOUR RESUME. GOVERNMENT POSITIONS MUST INCLUDE PAY PLAN, SERIES, GRADE, TO AND FROM DATES, AND GOVERNMENT AGENCY/DEPARTMENT. Must include at least one year of experience performing duties at a level which equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to perform successfully in the position. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Ability to do the work of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to maintain tools and equipment. Ability to keep areas neat and clean and in order. All Qualified applicants will be rated against the highly qualifying criteria by a rating panel for evaluation of the quality and extent of your total accomplishments, experience, and education.
