Paula's Choice SEA is looking for a Social& Community Intern to support our Assistant Manager, Social & Community across two exciting functions: social media and PR & KOL. This is a hands-on, learn-by-doing role, you'll be in the thick of content planning, influencer coordination, and campaign execution across five markets in Southeast Asia. You'll be working directly alongside one person who owns both the social and PR/KOL remit for the region. That means real exposure, real responsibility, and real variety, no two days will look the same.
Responsibilities
- Social Media Support
- Assist in building and maintaining monthly social media content calendars across TikTok (SG, MY,PH)
- Help draft captions, content copy, and creative briefs aligned to our content pillars
- Source and compile visual references, trending audio, and competitor content to inform content ideation.
- Assist in scheduling and publishing content across social platforms using social media management tools.
- Monitor comments, tags, and community activity across platforms; flag items that need a response.
- Track and compile weekly/monthly content performance data (engagement rate, reach, views) into reports and decks.
- Conduct regular trend-spotting on TikTok and Instagram Reels to surface reactive content opportunities.
- PR & KOL Support
- Help coordinate end-to-end KOL gifting and seeding campaigns
- Assist in drafting and formatting KOL briefs, talking points, and content guidelines for influencer collaborations.
- Maintain and update the regional KOL and media master list, including contact details, tier classification, and engagement metrics.
- Support the tracking and compilation of influencer content for campaign reporting
- Assist in media list management and help prepare press materials, media kits, and product factsheets.
- Support the coordination of PR events and media experiences - including invitation management, logistics, and on-site assistance.
- Monitor and collate earned media and influencer coverage across markets; maintain a coverage tracker.
- Help with post-campaign reporting by pulling data and formatting decks for internal review.
- Maintain organized filing systems for content assets, campaign materials, KOL contracts, and coverage records.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Genuinely passionate about skincare, beauty, and social media - you're the person in your friend group who always knows what's trending.
- A confident writer who can adapt tone across brand content, briefs, and captions without losing the brand voice.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented - you keep your own trackers tidy and notice when something doesn't match.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks with different deadlines.
- Curious about analytics and performance data; you want to understand why content works, not just what to post.
- Comfortable on camera- a bonus if you're happy to assist with or appear in TikTok content.
- Digitally fluent with TikTok, and familiar with tools like Canva and Cap Cut
