The role has responsibility for handling both existing clients and generating revenue and developing the profitability of the business whilst ensuring full FCA compliance in all aspects of Commercial and Consumer Insurance. Ensuring a quality service is provided to all clients in accordance with their needs and requirements. Key duties: Sales Growth: Proactively manage a commercial and consumer insurance portfolio, including prospecting new leads, identifying client needs, and closing sales to meet monthly KPIs Expert Advice: Negotiate and present bespoke insurance solutions (Property, Liability, PI, Cyber, etc.) to clients, ensuring coverage is tailored to their specific risk profile Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring an exceptional standard of service, regular communication, and long-term retention Insurer Relations: Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with underwriters to secure the best rates and coverage for your clients FCA Compliance: Take ownership of your own compliance, ensuring all transactions, file management, and advice provided strictly adhere to FCA regulations and internal quality standards Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate records, handle administrative tasks efficiently, and contribute to system or process improvements that enhance the client experience About you: Insurance Professional: Proven experience within a commercial or consumer insurance brokerage, with a deep understanding of standard lines (Liability, PI, Property, etc.) Commercial Acumen: You are sales-driven and comfortable working toward, and exceeding, performance targets (new business, retention, and cross-selling) Compliance Mindset: You possess a strong understanding of FCA regulations and have a track record of maintaining rigorous administrative and file-keeping standards Relationship Builder: Exceptional interpersonal skills; you can quickly build rapport with both clients and underwriters to negotiate win-win outcomes Adaptable & Analytical: You have the ability to interpret complex risk requirements and communicate them clearly and professionally to your clients Continuous Learner: You are committed to your professional development, open to T&C (Training & Competence) assessment, and proactive in seeking out product knowledge Please click on the APPLY button to send your CV and Cover Letter for this role.
