About the role

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of local and Western cuisine according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Oversee and manage a designated kitchen section to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served consistently to restaurant standards.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and plating presentation.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and seasonal menu updates.
- Maintain adequate stock levels and assist with inventory control and stock ordering.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of food products in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Train, guide, and supervise junior kitchen staff and commis chefs.
- Coordinate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation during service periods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.
- Adhere to all workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Support banquet, private dining, and special event operations when required.
