Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, governance, and optimization of HR Operations systems across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, job changes, offboarding, leave and attendance management, and contingent workforce administration.
- Partner with regional HR Operations leaders and business stakeholders to identify operational pain points, assess current-state capabilities, and define scalable system roadmaps and long-term technology strategies that enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Engineering, HRIS, and global HR teams to design, prioritize, and implement system enhancements, process improvements, and transformation initiatives across the APAC region.
- Serve as the APAC HR Operations Systems Lead and key regional stakeholder, providing strategic oversight of system performance, governance, issue resolution, and change management while ensuring alignment with global standards and business objectives.
- Champion continuous improvement through data-driven insights, process standardization, automation opportunities, and system innovation to support organizational growth and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Over 8 years of work experience, with both experience as a HR system product manager and HRIS implementation.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Technology, or a related discipline.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin for daily collaboration with global teams, as this role will require regular cross regional alignment with project teams based in China.
- Served as a project owner and was responsible for the implementation of cross-border HR system projects in large multinational corporations.
- Familiarity with HR operations business processes, and prior systematic implementation experience in all the following areas: employee lifecycle management, payroll, benefits, leave and attendance, and assignment management.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working internally at a large global tech company is required.
- Participated in the operation of industry-leading human resources systems such as Workday
- Full stack project management capability: ability to align HR product, business operations and engineering teams, and drive delivery through high complexity, high ambiguity environments.
