As part of an all-encompassing client service team, the Temporary Records Storage Assistant will excel in the organization, boxing, and palletizing of paper medical records. A strong commitment to accuracy, safety, and workflow processes is essential to operating in a fast-paced environment. This position is focused on maintaining an efficient and accessible records archive that supports the post-appointment client experience. Temporary Records Storage Assistants are expected to be dependable, detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and collaborative team players who are adaptable. Responsibilities Include but are not Limited To: Locating, sorting, and accurately cataloging physical medical records Preparing banker boxes and ensuring boxes are properly labeled and logged and maintained detailed inventory in the designated tracking system. Verifying record completeness following chain of custody guidelines and ensuring all boxes meet weight and packing specifications for palletization. Stacking and palletizing boxes in a neat, orderly, and safe manner following all safety protocols related to lifting and material handling. What qualifications are required? HS Diploma with at least 2 years of experience in a customer service capacity, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Methodical attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a structured process. Reliability, accuracy, and the ability to follow systemic workflows. Ability to quickly change priorities and solve problems in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic computer and technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn the electronic medical record and other hospital software programs. Must meet the physical requirements of the position including but not limited to lifting up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
