Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of private client lending experience
  • Demonstrated experience with complex financial statement / cash flow analysis and financial ratios; experience underwriting moderate to complex credit facilities

Position: Private Banking Lender - Vice President Department: New York Private Bank & Trust Reports To: First Vice President Employment Status: Full-Time, Exempt Office Location: Corporate Office Job Responsibilities: Interact with Private Client Groups, their clients and prospects to assess new loan requests. Underwrite new loan requests and renewals; perform in-depth borrower due diligence and financial analysis Prepare in-depth credit memorandums and present transactions to oversight and approval committees. Perform in-depth financial analysis on borrowers/guarantors Propose transaction structures that comply with credit and bank policy Prepare quarterly and annual reviews of all portfolio borrowers; obtain all mandatory compliance information on a timely basis Manage all aspects of department reporting and distribution Ensure loan agreements are complete and accurate, and in compliance with policy and approval Coordinate loan closings with outside attorneys Assist First Vice President and other bank credit professionals in portfolio management, credit policy compliance and special projects
