About the role

Walmart's Transactional System provides core transactional systems to enable segment and technology partners in creating wonderful omni experiences with speed and leverage. Transactional System organization is responsible for managing and optimizing payment processing, promotional campaigns, fraud prevention strategies, and compliance with financial regulations. This team ensures seamless transactions, mitigates risks, and maintains governance frameworks to protect the business and customers. We are a highly motivated group of engineers, working in an agile group to solve sophisticated and high impact problems. This role is part of a team and will build the next generation multi-tenant, client agnostic, highly scalable, omni solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive business and tech solutions
• Work in small groups of six to ten engineers in software development and design, identifying short- and long-term solutions and timelines. Review and approve proposed solutions, implement new architectural patterns, and perform design and code reviews of changes.
• Provides support to the business by responding to user's questions, concerns, and issues (for example, technical feasibility, implementation strategies); identifying short- and long-term solutions; facilitating resolutions; and leading cross-functional partnership.
• Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design by partnering with the product management, project management, business and user experience teams; and obtaining cross-function approvals.
• Models compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to app
