Responsibilities
- Align Nielsen real estate strategy with effective procurement category strategies that deliver best-in-class products and services at the lowest possible cost.

- Experience in / Passionate about the Real Estate Procurement space
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Experience developing and implementing category strategy leading to year-over-year KPI improvement (for example cost savings, diversity spend, sustainability, etc.).
- Prior experience in the sourcing event management (RFX management): Scoping & Planning, Detailed Requirements Definition & SOW Development, Evaluation & Selection, Negotiation & Contract Award, Implementation, Relationship & Contract Management, and Contract Transition & Termination
- Good understanding of product offerings and/or experience negotiating enterprise agreements with large suppliers
- A desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment
- Ability to multi-task is critical for success in this role. Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously with potentially conflicting tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of SAP Ariba or other P2P platforms or spend analytics applications

The Procurement Professional will develop and execute sourcing plans for the Real Estate category while maintaining strategic supplier relationships and end to end ownership of key contracts. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the assessment, selection, negotiation, and execution of contracts and relationship management of providers of externally contracted services to Nielsen, including Outsourced Contractors.
