As CTO, you will operate as both a business strategist and technology executive, responsible for scaling our cloud‑native, AI‑enabled Operations IQ platform while ensuring security, reliability, and compliance in highly regulated healthcare environments. This role is central to the Company's evolution into a real‑time, intelligence‑driven healthcare operations platform-leveraging advanced data integration, analytics, AI/ML, and decision‑support capabilities to improve patient access, throughput, capacity, and operational performance across the largest health systems in the U.S. and globally. The CTO owns enterprise technology vision, execution, governance, and investment strategy, leading a large‑scale engineering, data, platform, and product organization while serving as a key voice externally with customers, partners, and the broader healthcare ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Lead platform architecture decisions and manage ongoing re-platforming initiatives with rigour and pragmatism
- Close the product-engineering gap - bridging go-to-market priorities with technical execution
- Drive adoption of AI tooling and modern product development practices across the engineering organization
- Build bench strength: develop internal talent, shape team composition, and establish new ways of working
- Represent technology credibly in customer, investor, and board conversations
- Maintain business continuity while leading the organization through a meaningful transformation
- What we look for
- Deep architectural expertise with a track record managing large-scale re-platforming programs.
- 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including executive‑level roles in enterprise SaaS, healthcare, or other regulated industries.
- Demonstrated experience that is strong on both technical rigour and engineering process.
- Experience leading a technology organization through a significant reset: new architecture, new ways of working, new team composition - while maintaining business continuity.
- Strong change management and communication skills.
- Has operated at the intersection of product and engineering and understands go-to-market capabilities and architecture requirements.
- Strong on AI and modern product development practices.
- Financial acumen with experience managing large budgets, vendors, and strategic partnerships.
- Record of translating customer and market needs into scalable, differentiated products.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information system or information technology or other related discipline. (required)
- Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information system or information technology or other related discipline. (preferred)
