Cost Management and Estimation: Quantity Surveyors prepare detailed cost estimates, analyze material and labor costs, and set budgets for construction projects from the design stage through completion They track changes in plans, update budgets, and ensure value for money while minimizing expenses Contract Administration: They prepare, review, and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. They advise clients on contractual matters, procurement strategies, and dispute resolution when necessary Project Monitoring and Reporting: Quantity Surveyors oversee project progress, verify completed work, and prepare reports for clients and stakeholders. They monitor payments, track inventory, and ensure materials are ordered and delivered on time Risk Assessment and Value Management: They identify potential financial or construction risks, conduct feasibility studies, and implement strategies to mitigate risks. They also perform cost control and value management to optimize project efficiency Stakeholder Liaison: Quantity Surveyors coordinate with site managers, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution. They provide advice on improvements, strategies, and solutions to enhance project outcomes
