Staff Nurse - St. Andrew's Nursing Home (Buangkok)

About the role

Roles & Responsibilities As the nurse in charge of the ward, you will: - Lead the nursing team to assess and monitor residents' clinical needs, propose care plans and have autonomy in managing residents. - Provide nursing care in compliance with Enhanced Nursing Home Standards (ENHS) and propose improvements where needed. - Work in multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) and also participate in psychiatric conferences with specialist doctors to provide holistic care for our residents - Participate in doctor's visits and assist in providing key information on resident's condition so that appropriate treatment and medication can be given. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives centred on key domains such as fall prevention, infection control, wound care management etc. - Perform infection control practices according to current changing standards. - Be overall responsible for inventory control for the ward. - Engage next of kin where needed, be it at admission, discharge or when there are changes in MOH directives. - Be a mentor to the junior nurses. Qualifications & Requirements - Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) - Good interpersonal and communications skills - Compassionate, caring and positive
