About the role
Play a critical and important role in the ASPCA's national veterinary scholarship program, which supports the development of a robust and mission-aligned veterinary workforce in animal welfare. The Program division is made up of six verticals, including Animal Behavior, Community-Centered Medicine, Operations & New Initiatives, Shelter & Rehab Operations, Shelter Services, and Veterinary Medicine. This position will work within the Operations & New Initiatives vertical, which drives strategic alignment, operational excellence, and workforce engagement across the ASPCA's Program division. Key work within this vertical includes the ASPCA Veterinary Scholarship and the discovery and launch of new programmatic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manager, Scholars Network reports directly to the Director, Scholarship Management and has no direct reports.
- Where and When You'll Work
- This remote-based position requires the ability to travel up to 15% annually as needed, and is open to all eligible candidates based within the United States.
- A Monday - Friday schedule with occasional evening or weekend work is expected to facilitate, host, and organize network social, professional, and continuing education events.
- Willingness to work primarily within U.S. Eastern or Central Time Zone hours preferred.
