Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team. Assist in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. Support engineers in planning, executing, and monitoring mechanical engineering projects. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities. Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and project documentation. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure smooth project execution. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards. Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical issues to minimize equipment downtime. Perform other duties assigned by the Engineering Manager or Supervisor. Assist in mechanical engineering projects, maintenance, and operations. Support troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of mechanical equipment. Prepare technical reports and documentation. Coordinate with supervisors, technicians, and contractors to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Follow company procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards. Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned. Requirements:- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance practices. Good problem-solving and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering software is an advantage. Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently as well as in a team. Must be hardworking, committed, and willing to work overtime and on weekends when required . Able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsible, hardworking, and willing to learn. Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Willing to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when required.
